The Orange County Library System is pleased to offer a variety of Library Cards. After reading the brief description of each type of card, click on the appropriate card to view more information.
Adult (18 years or over) Resident of Orange County (except city of Winter Park and the city of Maitland).
Juvenile (17 years or younger) Resident of Orange County (except city of Winter Park and the city of Maitland).
Orange County Property Owner Card (except city of Winter Park and city of Maitland).
Fee Cards are available to anyone residing outside of our service area. The fee card will provide access to our circulating material on the shelf, remote access to databases and provide access to computer use in any of our locations. Fee cards are non-refundable and are available for 3 months ($75), 6 months ($100) or for one year ($125).
Reciprocal Borrower Cards are available to those residing in Brevard, Lake, Osceola, Polk or Seminole counties or residents in the city of Winter Park or Maitland.
PC Pass is available for $10 which will provide you with computer access for up to 2 sessions a day for 7 days.
Value Cards are the cards used to pay for copies from photocopiers and printouts from computers at the downtown (Main) library, Herndon, North Orange, South Creek, Southeast, Alafaya, South Trail, Hiawassee, West Oaks, Edgewater, Winter Garden, Washington Park, and Southwest.
Services Available to Non-Cardholders
This service is primarily intended for residents and cardholders of the Orange County Library System. For non-residents, service regarding some unique materials in the collection especially related to local history and genealogy, is available for a pre-paid fee. Requests for information from non-cardholder out of district residents may be searched for a pre-paid charge of $25.00 for up to 30 minutes of staff time including up to 10 photocopies, from print, film, fiche, or online resources. This service is intended to allow out of district residents to have access to the Orange County Library System’s holdings of local history and genealogy materials. These include the Orlando Sentinel articles and obituaries; City Directories, Cross Reference Directories, and Phone Books; and material in our Genealogy collection.
