Co-presented at the Florida Library Association with Ormilla Vengersammy and Natalie Houston; Presentation title: Envision Excellence in STEM Education: Plans and Practices for Embracing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. The presentation offered detailed step-by?step guidelines for streamlining STEM planning for any audience from strategic planning through implementation and specific programming activities. The presentation includes lively slide shows, demos of hands?on technology training, activities to get everyone involved, and strategies for applying instructional design principles to develop creative and critical thinking skills.

Created a mixed-media piece, A Solemn Consideration, inspired by A Tale of Two Cities and the county-wide celebration of the author Charles Dickens. The piece has been recently accepted into the Orlando Museum of Art’s, What the Dickens! event to be held at the museum.

Co-presented with Ormilla Vengersammy in a webinar hosted by the Maryland’s Regional and Public Libraries: Conversation Sparks... Fueling conversations about libraries. The discussions included ways we teach and promote STEM education for kids and teens at the Orange County Library System.
